This updates our recent WSM website announcement that a new I-9 form may be forthcoming.  The government yesterday released a new version of the I-9 Form.  In this connection, the Department of Homeland Security, USCIS, has updated its Handbook for Employers.

November Visa Bulletin

The U.S. Department of State just released the November 2007 Visa Bulletin outlining which priority dates are current for the month of November.   EB-1 first preference categories remain current.  There is no movement in EB-2 and EB-3 second and third preference categories. The State Department indicated this is due to the vast amount of visa applications filed this summer.  On a more positive note, the State Department indicated there may be forward movement in employment-based permanent visas for the month of December.
